There is an easy and simple way to do it. What is complicated about going to your league structure (makes sense since that's what you're editing) and importing an historical team?

It's very easy to do, a couple of clicks and bingo, you have your team.

How about a simple easy way to do the whole thing?

1. Start an empty league.
2. Import historical teams from Lahman.
3. Set whatever minor teams or options you want.

Something simple. And easy. Couple years ago I tried the method described in this thread and never got it right. So I gave it up.

So -

1. Start a league with 2 teams
2. Delete them and import the desired historical teams
3. Set minors options as desired

Simple and easy.

I'll try again using these instructions. I'd really like to have a league like this but sometimes I feel ootp challenged.

We all learned by making leagues wrong too. Keep at it - you'll get it right.

I'll do that. Thanks. I'd been working on a mod for empire deluxe but finished today and will start tomorrow. First I need to decide on my teams. Sixties mainly.
