Computer Offering Trades

I'm in year 2 of a dynasty, I've never been offered a single trade by the computer. Clearly I have to some deisrable players somewhere in my organization, so I figure this has to be some setting I'm missing. anyone know?

What's the trade frequency setting? Does your team have any weaknesses?

Frequency is high (not very high). I did an expansion draft so I've got plenty of weaknesses but plenty of decent prospects too

If you go to the trade screen what weaknesses are written in the description of the team's weaknesses (center panel)?

If you have none, I think the computer is less likely to offer you anything.

I have 5 weaknesses, catcher, 1B, LF, CF and RF -- so most of my offense.

I figured it is a setting. Its a year and a half and literally not a single offer.

Are the computer controlled teams trading between them?

oh yeah, they make a whole bunch of deals, a normal amount I'd say. I just figured I'd get offers.

Put some players on the block. That may generate something.

AI trade offers (trading in general) are the worst functional part of the game IMO. For the most part they are completely ridiculous and occasionally repetitive. Also it's frustrating to receive no offers all through the season including the trade deadline, then get 5-10 offers the first week of August.

I posted about this about a month ago.

I have the same problem. I've gone through about 5-10 non-consecutive seasons, have trades on low, have players on the block always, CPU trades amongst themselves, and usually have about 3-4 weaknesses listed. Never had a trade offered to me.

I too have NEVER been offered a trade by the AI. I think something is very wrong here
