personnel contracts

Is there a place to see pending offers made to personnel? Is it possible to retract an offer once it is made? Can this be done in commissioner mode? I offered contracts to coaches I didn't want on a specific level. I figured I could reassign them later. That's what I remember from the past. You made your offer to guys as "managers" and then assigned them to a level after they were signed. Now it appears each team in an orginization is (for lack of a better term) its only seperate entity. You have to be at that specific team to hire personell for that level.

I think if you go to the "available personnel screen" there is a tab for "pending offers."

nevermind...I misread your post.

Hopefully for OOTP11 this can be fixed and just put on Pending Offers with the other normal free agents/extensions. (fingers crossed)

You can withdraw bids from the pending offers screen mentioned above. Be aware, though that they will be angry then and probably not sign with you at all.

I don't know if you are aware, but you can right click on a manager that you have signed and assign him to a different position, if he's willing.

If he's not willing, you can switch to commissioner mode and he will take any assignment you give him.

Also, in commissioner mode, you can edit the person and then set his team, position, and salary in the lower left corner. Which allows you to assign any personnel directly to any position you want.
