This is really an anomaly. I never see anything but junk in the Rule V draft and I know that's what happens with other people as well. Something is amiss here.

Have you tried starting a fictional league and turning scouting off (to remove all biases and preconceived expectations) to see what happens?

The game doesn't know 'names', just the numbers.

Is this roster set from the game itself? That is the default Lahman DB.

Is it a 3rd party roster set? if so, who?

Whatever, use a different roster set, if one is available, to see if there is a difference. It seems like there is some corruption that leads to the AI not seeing obvious talent. Are you in Commish mode?

It may have been said before but it must be repeated. Make sure the AI is actually controlling all AI teams. To see so many good players not being properly evaluated suggests something is not on.

Has anyone else had Neftail Feliz avail in the R5 draft, he is a stud and avail every time. A lot of AAA studs are avail in R5 and FA.

I am using the database the game came with, and just the patch.

Did not try turning scouting off, but I like playing with scouting.

I have done three reinstalls and exact same players avail, any suggestions. I can't imagine these players arent avail in the 1st 3 years for everyone else? If so, what setting can I use to make them go away?

No clue. Like the other guys I have several leagues going on and this doesn't happen in any of them.

Don't get it,

Not using any mods, database is one game came with.

In latest FA 2014 round all the good prospects from AAA and AA at start of game are now FAs,
Guys like Vitters, Heyward, etc. for 2-5 mil a season , all never reached the majors. I signed Heyward and he hit .320 with 34HR?,

Is there a way to get the AI to promote these players, I see teasm with lousy lineups and pitching staffs who have studs at AAA they won't promote.

I checked all the settings and cna't find a fix
