No Ammy Draft

What happens if I select no Ammy draft?
Will it automatically create players, and if so, when will they be appear?
I would like to have no ammy draft and to use the create player option and create a set number of players to enter the league each year in the FA pool, anyway I can achieve this?

I believe it still creates players and places them into the FA pool. This is done to prevent the league from running out of players after a period of time.
Trying to find a post from months ago regarding this.

In a historical league with no ammy draft, players are imported directly to the team they debuted with in real life.

I'm not 100% sure what happens in fictional leagues. FA is as good a guess as any.

That is fine if they are created, but when do they appear? March? April? June?

according to the manual it's during the offseason...so I would say first day of the league offseason look for new players in the FA list.

Yeah, it will be sometime shortly after the season ends. You'll be able to tell because OOTP will probably stop and flash you a popup with a progress bar while it creates the new players. I know something like this happens during historical player import.

If your talking about Dolphins Rosters then one does show up in the the first year but only people who might enter next years Draft show up.
