Auto-Saving Problem

Hey,

I thought I would list this question here as well. I was wondering if there was anyway to turn off or avoid the autsaves. I am the only player in my universe and sometimes I get a sim result I don't want that Commissioner Mode doesn't address. The options under the Game tab, such as Restoring a backup and restarting a quick start either cause other problems, are too cumbersome, or too complex. Any advice?
