On vacataion, using demo
Hey all ... I'm on vacation for a week, but wanted to keep playing OOTP. The problem is I have a Mac at home, but where I'm on vacation, I only have access to a PC.
So, I figured I could play the demo for a week until I return home. OOTP has never been on this computer before. I downloaded the demo and started it, but I only see three options -- Purchase, License, or Exit. Stupid question perhaps, but how does one play in demo mode? Thanks... cbbl

Solution for you - dual-boot Ubuntu Linux
Here's a solution for you... I hope it's not too late.
Assuming you are allowed to do this on the PC, make the PC dual-boot Ubuntu Linux and Windows (see Ubuntu:Karmic-Dual-Booting), and install OOTP under Ubuntu. (I've read that the Mac license will work for Ubuntu.) |
