Had a problem with OOTP crashing, probably related to the computer freezing up during an OOTP session. Tried restoring a backup of my league, still crashes. Tried starting a new league, still crashes. So I'm to the point where I'm trying to uninstall OOTP.
But the uninstall program, either from the Start menu or the control panel, crashes, too. How do I manually uninstall the game? Do I delete everything in the OOTP folders, then do a regedit to purge all references to the game?

Ok, according to bababui in this thread I have to "Uninstall the small file in the program files and the larger one in Documents and you should be OK."
Does that mean just delete the exe in Program Files and, well, some other file in the Documents folder? Or just remove the entire folders in Program Files and Documents? I'd like to keep as much of the saved stuff as possible (although I have a full backup, so that's an option), so I'd prefer not nuking the entire directories.

So I deleted everything from the OOTP 10 folder in Program Files, deleted the OOTP 10 directory in my documents, and regedit'ed out all the OOTP 10 references I could find. And it worked. I reinstalled and everything seems to be moving along swimmingly.
