I'm just curious how long it takes people on average to win a championship? If you started a fictional league today, how many seasons is a good gauge to see if you're a decent player?

In a solo league?

If you're playing without restricting yourself and "making it difficult" to beat the AI, it should take you 5 years, maximum. At that point you should have a very stacked team that should be in perennial contention.
