How many of those wins were coming in with a lead with 2 outs in the 5th? And how many of those saves were 2-run leads with no one on and 2 outs in the 9th?

Pitchers don't get wins if they enter the game with a lead.

Edited: oh i see you were claiming win-vulturing by preemptive relief. I suppose that is possible.

none of the wins were cherry picked....but a ton of the saves were 3 inning saves. Nothing was cherry picked though. But if the game is tied, or the team is down a run or two late he is brought in if it is after the 6th
