Which pitcher is better?

Ok, so I have a league that has been running for 11 seasons now, but I hate the default award names, so I decided to name each one after the most dominant players to win the award. There are 2 seperate players who have won the best pitcher award 5 times, and I'm having a hard time deciding which one is better.

Our first look in is on Chris Sharpe, who has played on cellar-duellar Manhattan all of his career. Here are his stats from his best pitcher award seasons, and the total stats of the 5 seasons.

Code:
W L IP ER ERA K BB

21 5 246.2 56 2.04 258 60

22 7 245.2 58 2.12 249 50

20 7 238.2 66 2.49 224 38

17 5 223 70 2.83 216 46

18 7 215.2 74 3.09 201 51

TOTAL

W L IP ER ERA K BB

98 31 1169.2 324 2.49 1148 245
Also, he had a very notable season in which he didnt win the award. He went 26-6 with a 1.83 ERA, but his divisional rival Jose Delgado went 24-6 with a 1.62 ERA for his only best pitcher award.

Our next guy is Jim Hollingsworth. He was picked first overall in the inaugural draft by Washington. After 4 seasons, he left Washington for Mesa and has had a terrific career with them, with 6 consecutive sub-3.00 ERA's and 5 straight best pitcher awards. Anyway, here's his stats.

Code:
W L IP ER ERA K BB

16 6 242.2 59 2.19 191 48

22 6 230.2 61 2.38 189 43

22 3 222 69 2.80 191 31

20 5 232.1 61 2.36 192 45

21 5 226 67 2.67 198 45

TOTAL

W L IP ER ERA K BB

101 25 1154.1 317 2.47 961 212
So, which one has been better in these select seasons?

I'm a bigger fan of Sharpe, all other things equal.

Are you kidding me? The other guy would get it in real life! He has more wins! I am with Ryan on this one though, Sharpe appears to be the more dominant of the two.

How good were the teams Hollingsworth played for?

Based on the info given, I would go with Sharpe. His record is great for a last place team.

year 1 his team was 95-67 and finished first in the conference (top 2 in 12 team conferences make the playoffs). Year 2 was 87-75, 5th. Year 3 was 91-71, 3rd. Years 4 and 5 were both 84-78, 4th place finishes.

Thanks. That made it easier for me to vote for Sharpe.
