Team Personnel
Tried searching but . . .
. . . before I purchase OOTPX, I was wondering if signing team personnel has been fixed. An example would be if I tried to sign a Scouting Director to a 100K a year, 5 year deal but he decides to sign with another team for 10K a year at 5 years. After watching a lot of MLBN lately, I got an OOTP itch. Haha.

How do you handle the fielding of players when playing historicals? Do you edit their ratings to positions you believe they're familiar with?

I have recalculation on but Paul Molitor has a new position each year. I'm using 3 year recalculation.

He started as a 2B/SS in the late 1970s. Then switched to CF in 1981. Then 3B for about a decade. Then back to 2B in 1990 as well as playing at 1B. From that point on, he was a DH/1B. So, if Molitor has a new position every year, it's doin it right, considering he played everywhere but C and P in his career. |
