Reinserting a team previously removed

I am looking to add a team that I removed from the league a couple seasons previously. I want to re-add this team and am hoping for the team history to sync with the previously folded team. Is there anyway to do this?

For full disclosure, I haven't tried yet, so perhaps it is as simple as adding it with the same team name but I doubt it. However, I may not get to that point for a few days, and thought if someone knew an answer, I could get it right first try.

Thanks.

Each team is assigned a team number, so there may be some way to do this (although I don't know how). I don't think team numbers are reused.

The question is can you get OOTP to connect a new team to the old number.

People more in the details will have to answer.
