Strange editorial policy

In my last fictional league season the pennant race went to the wire with two teams tied for first with 3 games to go and by chance slotted to play each other in their final series.Following a win apiece Game 162 was the deciding match-up!
Now none of this showed up in any news stories at all.How come the game which after all is in version X doesn't recognise such dramatic events.In contrast every minor injury that ever occurs is reported in tedious detail ad nauseum.

I agree, their should be SOMETHING about the extra game. Would add so much more depth to the game just having as small a detail as that. I sometimes add my own articles in it just to add to the atmosphere.

I made a suggestion for this for ver.11. More news stories
Tight playoff races, pennant clinches, playoff series wins, preseason predictions ect. This would give more depth to the game.

I was describing a divisional pennant race but of course the game's news reporters also largely ignore the World/Championship series at the season's conclusion which is bizarre.

All the injury emails are annoying. I would like to see emails for injuries that are significant, like 4 or more weeks on the DL. News items tied to team accomplishments, not just individual accomplishments, would be great.

I really enjoy seeing news items related to my minor leaguers. I would like to know if anyone in my system accomplishes something, not just short listers. And of course, items when my farm teams clinch a division or win a playoff game/series.

If this were going to be implemented for OOTP11, I would be happy to help out with some of the text.
