Text Size

I just bought a new computer with Windows 7 and also have a 23 inch widescreen monitor. The text size is very small with a lot of unused screen space on various windows. What's the best screen setting for OOTP 10 when using a larger widescreen monitor? Also, can you change the text size?

Thanks, Brian

Experiment - try different resolution settings on your monitor until you find the one that suits you best.

I changed to the same monitor about a month ago. After messing around with resolutions I decided to leave it as is. It took a while but now I'm used to the default settings and don't mind it. Strangely, I have OOTPX at work on a standard monitor. It's almost like two different versions of the same game.

Except LCDs have a native resolution that they look best at. It would be nice if there was some option so adjust the text.

I tried all the various screen size choices and finally settled on 1400 x 900 for Windows 7.

I have a 21.5 inch monitor.

That's a good resolution. Get much higher and it goes south fast.

That's all fine and dandy, but it doesn't mean other resolutions are bad and unuseable.

I experimented until I found something I am happy, with regardless of native best setting.
