What to do about uneven number of teams in MLB template
What is the best way to correct the AZL, or other, league that generates the uneven number of teams in a league message when creating a new league?
When creating a new MLB league, I get the error that the AZL R league has an odd number of teams. Ok fine, if I try and add or delete one though, it auto-generates that league with all fictional teams. I can easily change the teams back, which I've done, but when I go and create the league, complete now with even teams in AZL, I go and check and the AZL teams have the hometowns of the auto-generated teams. Also, this league appears underneath the added international leagues instead of with the rest of the rookie leagues which is just annoying. It seems I can manually fix all of this stuff but I'm worried about the league not functioning properly and was wondering what the proper way to fix this uneven # of teams problem is. |

What are they thinking, having an eleven team league anyway?

Does the message prevent you from continuing? Because as long as you have the actual schedule for the 11-team AZL, the league itself should run fine.

This is not the answer you really want, but I'd just dump the Arizona and Gulf Coast leagues. They are not minor leagues in the traditional sense anyway, they're more like instructional leagues than anything else. And OOTP doesn't do instructional leagues (though I think it really ought to at some point).

I do the same thing the Orange does. You don't need those teams.
