Simming a game vs watching a game: a possible difference
I watch more games than sim them, but I am increasingly convinced that there is one real difference in what occurs, when playing a non-DH league.
When I watch a game, the AI team will often do double switches when a pitcher is scheduled to bat in the next inning (in late innings). However, the AI manager for my team never does a double switch. OTOH, when I sim the entire game, I find that my AI manager has done double switches at the same rate as other team AI managers. Would be interested to see other people check this out before I post a bug report. |
