Who the bleepity bleep shook his hand ??
Aargh. While not like a perennial Cy Young candidate or anything, I still count on this youngster to gobble up some innings for me. I just want to launch a full on investigation and see who the yahoo was that yanked this kids shoulder out ! lol

OMG this is the worst flaw in the game, time to quit!
........wait, no, the flaw in the LAST thread pushed me off the edge! This game sucks! Or, I don't know, turn this into a plausible scenario yourself. Dude's signing autographs and shaking hands, realizes that his shoulder or elbow (in this case a shoulder) got really, really sore....and it didn't get better immediately. He calls up the team trainer, they take a look at it, and a MRI reveals he had a torn labrum this whole time and he had been pitching through it for a couple weeks or months. He elects to have surgery to fix the problem before it becomes worse, he's out, he comes back. Whoopty doo. It makes it a better story and a better game. I'd be pissed if it happened to me, but amused when I see it happening to someone else. |

It is just a game.
I was pissed off too when my star RF got in a fight with a coyote and missed 3 weeks.

Wow, I posted this cuz I thought it was funny. A bug ? For real ? I'm thinking, not so much.
Now, a couple years later - my ace went out for 11 months (torn rotator cuff), and the guy who relieved him (my best non-closer reliever - and my 6th starter) was taken out for 8 months the next inning ! Now that one, I'm boo-hooing over ! - To clarify, just boo-hooing my luck, not that I've been "bugged".
