Increase Overall Talent in a League
My fictional league has a steady stream of mediocre to terrible players, even in the draft. Is there a way to increase overall talent both through the draft, or other means? Thanks for your help!

Go to the Game dropdown menu > Game Setup > Strategy. The sections entitled Player Creation Modifiers are what you want to play with. I recommend backing up your league, then changing the modifiers and simming forward a few decades to what the changes have done to the stats and ratings in the world. Then you can keep going back to the backed up file and tweaking them if necessary before moving forward with the original league.

Try adding a Feeder League
Try adding a Feeder League
I added one and then removed it because it was adding way too much talent to my drafts, problem solved. Also, so of those terrible talents may actually be solid, your scouts just can't tell. Hope this helps |
