Fictional league with real players

I want to create a fictional league with a draft pool of real players. I'm not 100% sure on how to create this.

One way to do it off the top of my head is to start a MLB league, then just release all of the players and re-name the teams, changing other rules and whatnot that you'd like to mess with.

That's the easiest way to do it. Release, rename, fantasy draft.
