New feature?: Waiver/FA notification

When quick simming, one thing you can't really keep a close eye on is the waiver wire (without increasing the waiver length) and free agent list without manually checking every two days.

It would be cool if you could set parameters and then use a "notify me when a player with x stat(s) or y rating(s) turns up on the waiver wire or free agency.

I was just thinking the same thing earlier today. Something along the lines of 'minimum potential' or possibly by other ratings.

I totally agree with this. At some points, it just becomes too tedious checking the waiver wire every few days, but I still do it.

Maybe add a new personnel position - Assistant GM. Kind of like the scouts in previous versions, you could tell your AsstGM to keep an eye on the waiver wire, free agent pool, and trading block for players that meet certain criteria. Speaking of which, I kind of miss having a few scouts that I could send out on missions.

Also, when one of your minor league players will miss enough time to be placed on the DL.

I have to go through every couple of days and scan my minors right now.

You get a message when they are healed, why not hurt?
