How do you disable finances?

I looked in the manual and did a search, but could not find out how to do it.

re: OOTP9

I recently decided to play with the finances on, but no longer want to use them. I tried to disable it, but the box on the Game Setup Rules screen under Financial System is grayed out and not functional. It has a red check, but will not respond when I click it.

Can it only be changed at a certain time in the season or is it not possible to disable it once you enable it?

Not 100% sure on this, but I believe if you wait until the day after the playoffs are over, it will unstick itself and you'll be able to play it the way you want to again.

It's either during off-season or pre-season, can't remember which but definitely one of those two.

It would not let me disable finances during the off-season, but I could disable them during the preseason.
