1973 Opening Roster

Does anybody know where you can find the season open day roster? I know where to find the roster for the whole year, but can't find a site that has the begining roster. Would appreciate the help.thanks Gary

Baseball-Reference.com - Major League Baseball Statistics and History would have something close to it - at least the Opening Day line-ups and the players that played in the game. Using the first couple days worth of games, you might get a decent idea.

As for opening day rosters, that'd be more difficult to come by, I'd think.

Here's another that lists every player on the roster that year. You'd have to hit each player link to see if they began their year with that particular team. Cumbersome, but an option.

If I find opening day rosters, I'll post.

All Baseball Digests are archived on Google Books. This one (April 1973) has the 40 man rosters. I don't think it has the Active rosters:
