Jarrod Saltalamacchia..who knew!!

I traded Brian Tallet to Texas for Saltalamacchia back in the 2010 season in my Blue Jay dynasty...I'm now in 2012....He was ok in 2010 (.280 - 20 - 81) then he has blossomed!!! Last year (.310 - 44 - 120) and in 2012 (.318 - 43 - 123) thru 150 games!!! I love it, stuff like this never happens in sim games..Great job with the sim engine!!!

Yeah, like the trade would ever happen either.

Player development is well done.

Well Salty tanked in my league in 2010 with .222-11-54, Teagarden played and hit better than Salty. As I said in my other thread my UTILITY players all played better than the supposedly stars.

If you want something that exactly mirrors real life, watch real baseball...

EDIT: However, I will agree with you that OOTP doesn't do a great job with the MLB quickstart

Man, I remember back in 2001 someone posted the same thing when some loser rookie named Albert Pujols tore up their league. It was so unrealistic.

I'm kidding, but you never know who is going to break out, especially if it's only for a couple years like Salt. did in your game.

Salty blew up in my league too, albeit after being traded to the Cubs.

Hehe yeah same, here's the link to his profile in my league.

Maybe OOTP is trying to tell us something - he's gonna breakout soon. On the other hand, if my league file goes corrupt on Dec 21, 2012 I'm going to really live it up for the next few years. That and draft Salty on all my fantasy teams.
