For those who are "Stats Only"
I'm interested in playing this way, but have a question about something that turned me off from doing it.
The draft: How do you select a player with no ratings? My guess is that you'd have to use feeder leagues so you have some stats to go off of. Thanks!

Yes, feeder leagues are a must. But even then, picking is still a shot in the dark as the stats are not always indicative of what they will do in the minors. Drafting is difficult in stats only, especially with scouting on. It is pretty much a craps shoot.
But overall, I enjoy stats only. The biggest downside is that it really takes a lot of extra time to do the same things like evaluate trades, make draft lists, etc... And it takes a while to even get comfortable with your own team when you start.
