Anyone know why pitcher ratings in players_pitching.csv don't match what is in the editor?
Does anyone know why pitcher ratings (stuff, movement, etc) in players_pitching.csv don't match what is in the in-game player editor?
fyi: I am playing with scouting off

Just figured out the answer. The game actually stores 2 sets of rating for each player - the "pure" ratings and then "combined ratings". In the editor you see the raw Moveemnt, but on the player information page and csv exports you see the "compbined rating". For Movement, this combined rating incorporates groundball percentage.

One issue is that in the player.dat file, the scouting reports only store the "pure" ratings (although the "combined" ratings are displayed to the user). This makes it difficult for anyone who wishes to parse the players.dat file to manipulate past scouting reports.
