I do it with no problem. What exact report are you having difficulty copying and what spreadsheet program are you using?

I have a similar question so I figured I'd piggyback on this thread.
In an inaugural draft I'm trying to get potential ratings into a spreadsheet that will have the offensive and defensive abilities of every player. The offensive potential part was easy since its posted on our leagues website in an easy to copy/paste list. However I've been unable to find a way to get positional rankings from the game into an easy to copy format. There are 165 pages of players right now, I'd really hate and probably never would copy and paste 165 pages of info. Is there a way to get one really long list of the positional ratings of players from the game? |

Yes, you should be able to do that too. First, make sure that from your OOTP Prefs screen your Lists are set to Scroll Bars. Next, go to your League's Transactions screens (you can use the League's Clipboard icon at the bottom; don't go to the Player Search screen as the Lists setting doesn't change there). Click the Show All Players tab. From there, customize the view settings exactly how you want them. I throw hitter and pitcher ratings all together and then filter from my spreadsheet later. Now click the Report button and select Open Report. That should open the report in your browser. Finally, just copy everything from the heading row to the bottom row and paste it into your preferred spreadsheet and manipulate it however you want. Good luck!

Good catch!
Do you have the filters filtering anyone out? I assume no. Looking at my own league what I think it is it's only showing the players in the league that you currently have selected. I understand you're going through an inaugural draft, but maybe it's just thinking those players belong there. Try selecting the different leagues from the top of right of the screen and see if it picks up the rest of the players.

This doesn't address your question, but is related and a good place to point it out: OOTP doesn't put feeder league players in the draft pool until they reach the graduation age in game. So if you've got a feeder league player who's birthday is two days before the draft, and your draft pool is released 30 days before the draft, he won't show up until two days before your draft even though his peer who's only a month older does.

I have just tried to export a long list of players from the transactions page to excel as well. I changed the "lists" option in OOTP preferences to "scroll bar" and restarted the game. I am still getting the player lists in the multiple page list format. Is there something Im leaving out in order to get one long list?

What ended up being the problem in case someone else has it too?

I also don't have to restart the game for that setting to kick in. Just in case it's a difference between OS versions, what OS are you using?

When I pasted, it just went into one cell. If, however, I control-clicked to bring up the menu, and selected 'paste special', it gives me three options. Selecting 'UNI code' (i think - it's the second one) causes the information to paste as desired. It's the HTML that the program doesn't instinctively translate correctly.
