Player histories editing

I've searched quite a bit and found nothing that helps with my question. If I've missed it somewhere and somebody knows the link to the answer, please feel free to post.

I'm looking for the exact way to show team links and player links in a player's history. I used to know how to link the teams a couple of versions ago, but have since forgotton (damned old age creeping in). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Go into the news/txt/players/player*history.txt files and do something like:

HTML Code:
20311106	Won the 2031 Canadian Baseball League Canada Cup with the <a href="**/teams/team_16.html">Winnipeg Warriors</a>!
and it should show up with a link to the team.

EDIT: The board software keeps screwing up the link..

EDIT2: Replace the 2 *s with 2 periods in your txt files and it should work. Just make sure you link to the team's correct ID#.

Thanks much, kq76. Funny how missing one little piece messes everything up...I had forgotten the backslash between the 2 periods and the word team.
