Does anyone know if a team is able to skip a pick during the inaugural draft in OOTP 9 (or X)? We are having an issue where a team can't really afford any more players and would like to stand pat with the roster they've currently drafted.
We've tried leaving the draft list empty for the remaining rounds but the AI still selects a player for them. (We are still using OOTP 9.) Kenny V |

Can't be done, as far as I know.

Did you try, on the "Draft Rules" tab moving each team up a slot subsequently replacing said team so they are skipped over so to speak.
Takes a bit of work, but if you're near the end of the draft... |

I could do that but eventually towards the end of the round, I will have to have a team(s) at the bottom that will have to make a selection before I can end the round.

Why don't you just have him draft minor leaguers?

We're not playing with minor leagues. But what I'll have them do is create a list with players that only have 10 ab's or 3 innings pitched, etc then manually edit the players off their teams and adjust the financials.
But it would be great if their was a "Skip Pick" button instead.
