Pitcher Stamina Thru The Ages

Hard to believe, but I just noticed this. When setting up strategy for a new league, Pitching stamina on player creation seems stuck on 1.000 (modern day numbers) no matter what year is chosen as the model.


Other settings numbers change as you change the year, except for pitcher stamina, running speed and fielding ratings. Is there a programming issue that prevents changing those attributes to era specific numbers, such as what occurs with Pitching Control, Pitching Movement, etc.?

I know you can affect error rates elsewhere for fielding, but where do you affect pitcher stamina, short of editing individual pitchers?

Never mind. I found the pitcher stamina option to set on high. Still curious as to why pitcher stamina remains at 1.000 regardless of the year selected. Same question about defense ratings.

Is it just a programming nightmare to make those attributes change from year to year, as other attributes do?

Presumably (I don't know for sure) the "High" setting modifies it by an amount "behind the scenes", so if it changed the modifier it would be even more.
