How do you cope with losing streaks

I'm one who likes to play every game out. My Sacramento River Cats had a decent April but May has just seemed endless. I have gone 2-15 so far with no hitting, my pitchers are getting boxed around and I had one game with 6 errors (to be fair, this is a 1901 Fictional Historical season so there were more errors back then than now). I'm getting to the point I'm afraid to start another game.

So I'm going to give this issue to you now: how do those of you who play out your games cope with losing spells like this? We all have them from time to time. Do you drink a lot? Throw furniture? Release the entire team? Have a nervous breakdown? Or just try to be.....gulp!...patient?

How do YOU cope?

Most of the time I know if my team's just going through a slump or if they're just not any good. So losing streaks don't hurt me too much. At worst, I bench a guy for a single game or switch two batters in the lineup.

Coping with losing in the playoffs every year is a different story though. Heads will roll.

I remember that this is just a computer game and there are much more significant issues to worry about. The same thing I realized about 10+ years ago when the Cowboys kept letting me down.

I start giving my regular starters a day or two off. Let them clear their head.

I start concentrating more on my minor leagues and muttering, "Wait 'til next year!"
