Creating greater disparity in talent?
I am creating a fictional league and I want to create a greater range of ratings and statistics among players than you typically get. Is there anyway to do this? Should I just limit the draft rounds?

It was suggested by SteveP in your other thread (dealing with how to get the occasional .400 hitter without increasing the league batting average) that you set randomness higher. It can go as high as 2.0.
My experience with that is that you'll likely need to adjust the league equivalences higher to get back to the mean you want. This is because random ratings movements are downward four to five times as often as they're upward.
