Separate league FA not working?
I have two leagues, running separate of each other. Both are set to 'no' on 'allow FA to leave league' yet both leagues may bid on the other's free agents.
Am I missing something? |

not quite sure what could be going on if you left both those boxes unchecked in both leagues.
Is it an online league? different schedules for off-season? are the players maybe retiring first, then entering the FA pool? just grasping at straws here. If you wanted to zip up your universe and post or email it I wouldn't mind taking a look. Not saying I will figure it out, but could offer a different set of eyes. |

Hmmm, online league. This gives me a possible theory.
The AI of each team "knows" it is not allowed to bid on FAs from another league, but the human owners can. I know this sounds ridiculous, but we are talking OOTP. I have never used those options in any of my universes, so I don't know how they normally work (or work in a solo universe I should say). |

Yeah, I understand your question. I was just wondering if OOTP handles this some bass-ackwards way, instead of doing what is logical. (disallowing one league's owners from even viewing the FA from the other league).
