HOF Criteria

I notice that most like to use their own standards for induction into their HOF, and not the standards set by the game. That said, is there a formula you all use to decide who is in and who is out? If so, please share...

I don't use a formula. I compare retiring players to others who've played the same position. If the retiring player is head and shoulders above the crowd, I induct him.

Edit: I do believe firmly in the rule the a player must have put in ten seasons to be eligible, so I guess that's formulaic.
