Creating an independent league
I want to create an independent league in my fictional universe with players who are about 75% as good as the players in my primary "major league".
The manual states: Sabermetric PCMs can be used for either major leagues or minor leagues, but they are recommended for minor league use only because of their more unpredictable results compared to Traditional OOTP PCMs. When used for minor leagues, Sabermetric PCMs affect only the quality of players generated when the league is first created. They do not affect the quality of new players created in subsequent years - that aspect is controlled solely by the PCM's used by the relevant major league. Does that mean the "Traditional PCM's" do NOT impact the ratings of players when the league is first created? I'm wondering which modifiers I need to adjust in order to create the lesser independent league. I know I'll need to use the traditional pcm's for subsequent seasons but do I also need to adjust the Sabermetric PCM's in order for the indy league to be created correctly? Thanks. |
