This is friggin ridiculous.
Cool. Player injures himself without even playing in a game. I have no problem with the concept of a player injuring himself outside of a game, but it would be nice to have something that states "he injured himself outside of a game" rather than just going with the assumption it came out of thin air. To say nothing of the guy who just game off of a 5 or 6 month injury only to injure himself for a further 5 months in less than a whole game.

And I stand corrected. The guy wasn't just injured out of the blue. There was a double header I was unaware of and he injured himself in one of those games.
