Woo, Trading
So you know how you can submit a trade for a GM to "think about", and they'll get back to you? Yeah, apparently not. See, twice I've submitted a package to a team, had it show up on pending trades, only to have it vanish two days later with no message, no information, nothing. If I was simming, I wouldn't have known the offer wasn't still being considered. What gives?

I've had "pending offer" problems with free agents.
Did you right click to back out of the screen when you check the status? That seems to cause FA offers to disapear, even though the game still thinks the offer is there. It will account for it in the finances screen, just not display it. I wonder if you have a similar problem. |

I"ve had this happen before. Most times it happens to me during the offseason when teams begin offering contracts to high priced free agents. Many times I'll offer a team a deal with the other gm saying "think about it". Before they respond, I'll notice that because of contracts offered to free agents, they'll have no budget available to complete the trade I offered. This will cancel out the trade with no notice.
Hope that helps. |

Beavis: That may account for the free agent issues, but I never right-click out of trades, because it doesn't go back in those situations.
TLB: Hmmmm. I may need to check that. Thanks.
