Adding A Position To Player

Guys,

How do you edit a player to a new position in his profile?

I tried changing his position in the basic information area and also setting the game experience but it doesn't show up in his profile.

I don't know if this answers your question, but:

If you edit player rating information by using the Editor (as the commissioner), and you use scouting, then the quickest way to get the changes reflected in the game is to turn off scouting and then turn it back on. You will also have to reset scouting for your team (via the little Scouting drop-down box on one of the roster-type screens). Otherwise, wait awhile and the scouting process will update things in due time -- sometimes in only a few days of game time.

Hope that helps.

One of the trickier things is that the game has minimum requirements for some positions. So he can have all the experience you want at 3B, but if his infield arm is rated a 55, you'll never see a rating at 3B.

This is the minimum ratings chart:

Code:
Pos cA cB iE iR iA iDP oE oR oA
P 1 1 1 1
C 1 1
1B 1 1 1 1
2B 50 40 10 60
3B 40 40 60 20
SS 50 70 60 60
LF 1 1 1
CF 40 90 40
RF 1 1 1
