Computer never initiates trades with humans?

Hello,

We're in our 4th season...just me and my buddy and 26 computer controleld teams.

We've NEVER been offered a trade by a computer team. I've gone through some settings, but not sure I"m seeing all of them.

Where should I look to make sure ocmputer controlled teams can initiate trades with us?

Computer initiated trades happen in Solo leagues. Your league is for all intents an online league despite the 26 AI managers. By definition online leagues have no trades at all. What I mean is the only time a trade actually happens in an online league is due to the interference of the commish, based on league owner/GM submissions. If that didn't happen no trades would happen.

A somewhat convoluted explanation, but I hope you get the gist.

PS. Does the AI trade amongst other AI teams? If so then my explanation is rubbish.

Yep! The computer trades with the computer all the time! And we can initiate and trade with the computer.... but the COMPUTER never initiates trades with US.

Is there a way to enable that?

Hmm. How do you and your buddy work this league? Do you upload a file that he/you download like those of us in online leagues?

Yes, exactly...basically, it's an online fictional league with all computer controlled teams except 2, for me and my buddy.

We enjoy this more than having a bunch of other humans playing.

Anyway...we can't figure out why teh computer controlled teams will only initiate with other computer controlled, and never with either of our teams?

Any ideas?

Do you have any weaknesses on the trade screen? If you don't, the AI will never offer you a trade because you don't need anything.

You can check this by going to the initiate a trade, and then seeing what your weaknesses are. If nothing is listed, you will not be offered a trade. This happens to me when I begin to dominate my SP leagues is an indicator that I should switch to controlling a bottom feeder.

Hello...oh yeah, there's a few weaknesses - not sure it has anything to do with that...remember we're doing online league mode. Computer initiates with computer, but never iwth humans for some reason.

Just wondering if there's a way to get them to propose trades to us too?
