What files to save when switching (help)

Hi all -I know this has been asked and answered by others before (because I remember reading it) but I can't find it anywhere.

I want to clear some space on my computer and want to know what folders I should move so I don't lose the info but don't actually need to play a current league. I have several competed leagues that I don't play anymore but I may want to go back and look at the stats someday -Can someone suggest exactly what files to move (I know they are in the documents section.) Is it just the saved leagues folder?

Thanks for any help
Keith

Make a backup in-game and delete the original.

don't understand

I'm not sure what that means.

I have played different leagues and seasons that have been completed (example I did the Mets from 62-2009) and now I moved on to something else.

If you haven't added mods or anything then yeah, it should just be what is in your saved_games folder. What I'd do is just compress (zip, rar, 7z, whatever) your .lg folders and move them to somewhere else like an external harddrive then delete the old .lg folders.

If you do have modded files (e.g. names and nations files), however, then don't forget to back those up as well. They should be in your data folder somewhere which probably isn't called data (it once was), but it's probably the parent folder to saved_games (unless you're like me and moved the saved_games folder elsewhere).
