All-Star game problem
I've been working on a historical replay starting in 1871, and have played up through the 1924 season. The first 40 years or so went off without a hitch, but suddenly the All-Star game stopped appearing. Since then, I have tried a number of things including manually scheduling the game, different dates, etc. For some reason the 'hold all star game' box will randomly un-check itself between the end of the season and spring training of the next year. No matter how often I recheck the box, the All-Star game is never scheduled.
Is there any logic behind this glitch? I did alter the date of the draft, moving it up a month or so, but otherwise have made no alterations to the league or gameplay settings. Has this happened to anyone else, and is there a way to fix it? It's obviously not a huge deal, but it certainly would be nice to have yearly all-star rosters for historical purposes. |

Interesting
in my online league in year 3 the old star game didn't get scheduled. I thought the box was not checked. When I checked it in the off season for season 4 its was checked. I'm hoping when we start the season it will work this year. I'll update in a few weeks when the schedule apprears.

After some more trial and error, I found that the all-star game box is unchecking itself when the pre-season begins. If I re-check the box between the pre-season and spring training, the All-Star game is held.
It's not a perfect fix, but at least it's a solution. |
