Can this be done?
Is it possible to truly set up your own league using a real player roster set. I want to do a custom league where I define everything from the cities to team names, a fantasy draft, a custom schedule, blah... blah. blah.
I know most of this is possible. Here's the problem. Creating a customer league off a set like say the one Cubby does seems very dificult and time consuming. The only way I have seen to get this to work is to delete, move and rename teams mannually. Additionally, there is the signing of coaches. I would love to be able to release all coaches from their contracts and be able to create my own organizations. itt seems the signing period for coaches is long gone (6.5?). Any thoughts? |

As for coaches, the AI teams will hire coaches when they need to. There is no coach signing period because teams simply sign coaches at season end when the contracts run out. Minor League seasons end on different dates, of course. I have never attempted setting up coaches because the instant you hit the sim button, the AI teams begin to undo all your setup work as far as coaches and who is in the lineup, etc. So anything other than league structure is likely setup time wasted. |
