Re-downloading OOTPX; Re-obtaining license

I have had OOTPX since last December on my laptop, but my laptop hard drive is currently experiencing problems and I am not able to start the game. Therefore I would like to download and install the game on another computer. I tried going to the ootpdevfiles.com site and downloading both the ootp10setup.exe and ootp10demosetup.exe and installing from there. However, when I try to boot up the game, an eLicense message says that I must run the file with administrator privileges. I assume this is an issue with a license from the download. Could someone show me how to download a setup file for OOTPX that doesn't have this problem?

I have also misplaced my license for the game, so I would also appreciate it if someone could tell me how I can re-obtain my license.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Are you on Windows Vista or Windows 7 by any chance? We get many questions like this with EHM, and apparently it's a Windows thing. I think there's some "Run As Administrator" setting you need to do. I'm on Ubuntu Linux, so unfortunately I can't help much more than that.

As for getting your license back, we've had very positive feedback at ehmtheblueline.com in regards to eLicense responding to these situations. I would suggest contacting eLicense, and letting them know you misplaced your order ID. If our users' feedback is anything to go by, they should be able to get you your info.

EDIT: I was just thinking... are you still able to at least access your problematic hard drive? If so, you might be able to try unlicensing OOTP. That should show you an eLicense screen just like the one you saw when you first licensed it, and it should have your order ID on there. That should save an email to eLicense.
