Recovering after injury
It seems like when a lot of my players in my league get injured, even just once for maybe 4-6 weeks, their ratings take such a hit that they become essentially useless.
I am playing a historical league and started in 1945. I am now in 1959. Players like Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Eddie Matthews, Roberto Clemente, have all had a few litle nagging injuries (nothing that wasn't over 6 weeks), and I've seen their star ratings drop from 4 or 5 to 1 star in the same year. Willie Mays who was hitting 30-40 HR's a season was denoted to a bench players after coming back from injury and getting little playing time. I'd like for my league to be as realistic as possible. Is there anyway to make sure that players can fully recovery from injuries and actually come back and be star players again? It seems like there's more "fictional" players who are becoming the stars of my league, when I'd really only like a few fictional players to become stars, but still have the main attractions be the actual MLB stars during the era I'm in. Thanks! |

I feel like i used to have the same issue. Try turning down your "player aging"
I play on .47 for batters and .5 for pitchers. May seem extreme, but i get real good results with those sliders. Also, i play with batter development at .9 and pitcher development at .85 Talent randomness at 80. These are the best sliders i've used. |
