About to Pre-Order Version 12 - Minor League Player Question
Okay, I haven't played this for a couple of years, but have the itch again.
I have had some fun playing around with the game in the past, but really haven't figured out how to fully integrate the minor leagues. It seems only a few minor league players exist for the league I have started. Is there a place I can get *all* available minor league players? I've looked a bit, but have apparently 'struck out' to this point. Thanks in advance! |

Yes there is a way to do this, if you would like to know how let me know and I'll open my game and tell you. Are you using MLB or fictional?

I have a major league replay going but no minor leaguers. I think that doesn't bother me too much right now as I'm trying to look ahead to version 12. What I am really having an issue is with my setup of the game I want to do. What I want to do is to create a fictional league, delete (or don't create) any fictional players, export the real major league players from a past season to a text file and then import them as free agents. Then hold a draft with real players in my fictional setup. Possible? Any pointers? This game looks like it can be as complicated as you want to make it--lots going on! Thanks in advance for any assistance. |

Why so complicated? Start a historical league in the year desired. Before advancing the day to the draft, delete the created leagues and create any league structure you like. No exporting/importing required.

Hey, no offense intended. I've been playing with different league setups for years. OOTP is an incredibly customizable game. Keep asking questions if you stuck. I can assure that someone has done the same thing at some point.
