Strange indeed
I'm currently replaying the Brewers from 1970 on and right now I'm late in the 1980 season.
I had reliever Bobby Castillo on my ML roster when I decided that I don't need him anymore. So I shopped him around and found the Houston Astros would trade me Dale Berry, then listed as a 23-year old shortstop. I figured that that was acceptable for me and clicked on the "complete trade" button. Then a message appeared that since we were past the trade deadline, both players had to clear waivers. Since I wanted to move Castillo from my roster RIGHT NOW I right clicked his name and released him, eating the rest of his salary. Okay, I didn't think about that until now, when I received the following message: "It took some time to iron out the details, But the Brewers and Astros have agreed to a swap. Houston will get nothing with Milwaukee receiving 23-year-old shortstop Dale Berra in return. A source close to the trade talks said the clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. Berra is currently hitting at a .130 pace with 1 home run, 3 RBI's and has scored 3 times." Strange

Oops, I just noticed I screwed up my ticket prices
![]() I just took a look at my finances and was stunned to see my average attendance at about 230.000 while my team regularly draws around 1.8 - 2 million. Since I raised my ticket prices from $ 7.00 to $ 7.50 before the season I checked what ticket price my fans REALLY have to pay ... Okay, some 230.000 fans actually payed $ 67.50 to watch my team on its way to lock up yet another division crown. I tried it again, and when you enter "7,50" it ends up with $67.50, while "7.50" comes up right. However, since there always is a message saying "do you really want pro promote so-and-so to Triple-A", why isn't there a message that reads "do you really want to chance the ticket price to $ 67.50" or at least that the new ticket price shows up once you hit the enter button ... At least my team's finances weren't hurt by this mistake, since these 230.00 fans payed more money than about 1.7 to 1.8 million fans, which I would norrmally have at this point, would have payed at $ 7.50
