A Great Place to Learn About Historical Players

If you're like me, you started simming historicals without really knowing much about the players. Sure, you knew about Cobb, Wagner, Ruth, Hornsby, etc, but you didn't really know anything about Wid Conroy or Kid Elberfield.

baseballlibrary.com is a great website with short, well written player bios that give you a little more than a name and some numbers.

Check it out at:

Like Redsox45 said, this is a great place to learn more about the history of the game we love. I visit it regularly.

I agree. I play 99.9999% historical leagues, especially oldtime leagues, and there alot of players I dont know anything about from back then, and thats a nice site to look up some stuff on them

Well, I don't really think that the end can be assessed as of itself as being the end because what does the end feel like? It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you.
