Fictional players in a historic league

Hey everyone!

I've never been much of a historical simmer, but I want to try one with 07, but I have a question about it.

If I import a year (let's say 1995, for sake of argument) and I want to run a Fantasy Draft, but I ALSO want to have complete minor league systems going forward, will the game generate a lot of REALLY GOOD fictional players to go along with the regular players it imports? That's what I don't want. I would prefer that the fictional players are relatively average to poor - I don't want too many Joe Smith's competing for Larry Walker's and Jim Thome's positions.

Thanks guys.

You can set the new player creation to whatever skills you want them set at.

There's an option to stop fictional guys from making it to the bigs as well.

But won't the player creation settings also affect the historic players when they import as rookies, too?

Not sure, I think the historical modifer would override it, if checked. If did effect the real guys, it would just be their rookie season, as the modifiers would change it the next year.

Only affects rookies, but I believe player creation modifiers affect every new rookie coming into that particular league.
