Importing Actual Schedules?

I have found a website (http://home.comcast.net/~markwmiller/Main.htm) that has the historical schedules in a .csv format. Is there a way to import these into the game? How about editing them and then importing? Any help will be apprectiated.

Thanks.

If you're running a historical league, OOTP will automatically use the proper major league original schedule for each year. No importing of schedule files needed.

Note that this means the war-shortened 1918 season and all the lockout/strike affected seasons will be played out in OOTP using the full, original length schedule.

What if the historical league was an imported 6.5 league? Will it still use the right schedule? I looked at the schedule and it wasn't the same.

What if the historical league is a non MLB and a csv schedule is avaiable?
(I'm trying to create a historical PCL league starting in the late fifties - early sixties.)

Can't speak to imported leagues. I know it works for historical leagues created in OOTP2007; I'd assume that's all it's designed to work for.

Regular historical leagues only as far as I'm aware, except for a special case where it's a fictional/historical league where the league follows MLB's exact structure, setup, teams, etc., but replaces the historical players with fictional ones.

I figured out how to do it.

Go to Game Setup, League Setup, Edit League Structure. Click on Schedule on the bottom right of the screen and click import schedule. The game has all the years schedules; you just need to know where to find them. Mine is under My Documents/Sports Interactive/OOTP Baseball 2007/Data/Schedules.

I scrolled down and found 1939 and done! I'm sure Ranier 1 can find the schedule he wants there as well.

I started a 2002 Yankees historical (using Lahman) but the schedule is not the original MLB for 2002. What i did wrong?

Thanks, Gerry

You're going to have to post a bit more info than that. There are a lot of options that can be selected, so the particulars that you went with might matter.

Yes, you are right. I basically followed the 'guide' by Rasnel and accepted all the default options.

Thanks, Gerry

I'm having a real problem setting up a 1967 Red Sox historical season. Could someone point me toward the guide Gary mentioned, or another post wheresetting up an historical season is explained in detail?
