Lahman DB correction (very minor) needed

Am using the Lahman db for historical league. Came across pitcher Bob Friend in 1956 season. His chart in game shows that he was born in Lafayette, Louisiana. As a native of that city I was certain that I would have heard of Friend before in a historical context but had not. I did a search on the web today and saw Friend is actually from Lafayette, Indiana.

Not a big deal, but maybe something to tweak down the road if any corrections or additions are made to the db.

Maybe you can contact Sean Lahman to get it fixed for future versions.

Got the email, and thanks for the info. I'll see that both of these get fixed for the next release.

While we are at it, Dave Telgheder is from Middletown NY not Middletown OH

How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you.

Is this a DB issue or is this when the game pull in the info it's still randomly assigning the state to cities that are in multible states. I know this was a problem in the 2006 game, but I don't remember if this got fixed or not.

I think you may be right. I just checked Telgheder in a database I have here at work (original Lahamn DB) and he is listed correctly in NY, but in my game he is listed in OH. I also checked English, and he is correctly listed in the Lahman DB from OH.

I thought that was a fixed issue. I guess not. I suppose it continues to be one of those annoying little initial oversights that won't go away.
